Meet the founder

Hello! I’m Laura, a qualified Nutritionist and Nanny with over 15 years of experience working with families, and 7 years as a professional nanny.

I graduated as a Nutritionist in 2015 and, since then, I’ve worn many hats: flight attendant, and spent time in Berlin, where I began nannying professionally while picking up recipe inspiration from my German friends. Food has always been at the centre of it all. I was the flight attendant sipping green juice in the mornings and getting curious looks for adding chia seeds to my water bottle. With a love of Chinese cuisine and no local dumpling spot, I taught myself to make them from scratch. I also love putting together grazing platters and helping friends cater their events.

Across every role, I’ve kept a genuine curiosity about food, from trying new restaurants and watching cooking shows to expanding on my nutrition knowledge. I know how personal and nuanced food can be; what works for one person doesn’t always work for another.

In my work as a nanny, I’ve catered to a wide range of dietary requirements, and having been gluten-free and dairy-free myself, I understand how important it is for food to be both nourishing and enjoyable. With my nutrition background and love for cooking, creating meals that suit individual needs comes naturally to me.

I believe what you eat shapes how you feel – your energy, your mood, and how you show up each day. Supporting families through the everyday moments is a real privilege. Seeing households find a little more ease and balance is what continually inspires my work.
